YOUR OPTIONS?

  • Several monthly periodicals and websites target mid-levels, including Physician Assistants. Advertising costs vary but will generally be a few hundred dollars per insertion. In most cases, you'll get several resumes including those from inexperienced or unqualified PAs. It also takes 30-60 days for your advertisement to be published.

  • A rented mailing list and direct-mail flyer will also get some results, and is a great way to target the PAs in your region or specialty. However, no professional society can provide you with a specialty PA mailing list as comprehensive as our own. It's continually updated and never provided to other groups. It's – quite simply – the best!

  • You may be able to find a source of phone numbers for PAs and can make cold-calls to determine an interest in your position. However, it's a time-consuming task that takes you away from running your practice or department.

  • A final option is to rent exhibit space at a specialty surgical society's annual meeting. It's a terrific way to meet experienced PAs who might have an interest in your position; it can also be quite costly – as much as $6-8 thousand dollars per meeting.

  • DIRECT-MAIL ADVERTISING

    Use our extensive and specialty-specific Physician Assistant mailing list for no additional charge. Your advertisement, in postcard or letter format, is mailed directly to the Physician Assistants with experience in your specialty surgical field. Target the experienced PAs you're seeking for an estimated $750 - 1000 , plus expenses**, depending upon the specialty surgical database.
